Savitribai Phule Pune University is one of the first management institutes in India. They are going to conduct an online examination due to lockdown. The circular for these exams has been published in March.
According to this circular, exams for 1st year to last year students have been started from 10th April, 2021. There is an MCQ format for these exams. There are 60 MCQ questions for one mark each. Among these 60 questions, 50 marks will be given to the only correct 50 answers of the questions. The time for solving these 50 questions is one hour only.
The syllabus for these exams is 100%. Similarly, exams for B.A., B. Com students are on 100% syllabus. Officially, the academic 1st semester of 2021 has been started from 6 February, 2021. Syllabus for streams like, Architecture, pharmacy, Engineering, Method, M. Ed., M. P. Ed., BSC. B. Ed., B. A., B. Ed, is 70% from the first unit of the semester.
Marks of theory exams for the first semester exams will be displayed through the student’s profile system. Student’s arrangements for these exams are done under the guidelines related to taking precautions for COVID-19 given by the central government and state government.
For giving some practice and being familiar with online exams, SPPU organized mock tests for the students for avoiding glitches on the time of the actual exam’s day. The Circular for the mock test is here.
Important instructions according to exams are sent to the students via Emails and SMS. Students will get more extra time if there will be some technical problems while examining. The answer will be saved of already attempted questions and the exam will start from the current question.
Only those students are eligible for the exams whose internal marks are submitted to the university from respective colleges. These scores will be declared with the final result. 30-70 marks pattern is eligible for these exams.
According to the decisions of the governance conveniences and concessions are given to the handicapped students. Extra 20 minutes are given to these students.
Timetable for these exams has been released on 2nd April, 2021. Exams are started on 16 April, 2021 and are up to 8 May 2021. Some papers have a time slot of 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm while some papers have a time slot of 9.00 am to 11.00 am. The timetable is here.
